LOL well TECHNICALLY my first concert was Journey, but Loverboy opened for them. It was the Cow Palace and I was 11. I went with my mom's boyfriend because she didn't want to go. It was awesome!

did Vanilla Ice open for him? that would make it so... so... SO... much worse. BTW, if you are down visitng Alfar this weekend we are going to the Tiki Bar, it is a BLAST (and Ajax doesn't drink either)

ohhhh... saturday or friday? saturday during the day we're going to a friend's housewarming here in ceres... but that might be fun on sat night...

i love that ajax doesn't drink. he's my "have fun at a party sober together" buddy.

They Might Be Giants, twice in three days, in May of 1994-right before John Henry came out, including the first show at The Troubador in Hollywood, which to this day is still the best place I've ever been for live music. It was amazing...the two Johns are fantastic musicians, and they brought along a bunch of incredible players. Plus the first song they played after band intros was "Particle Man" :D

*chuckle* that explains the name! i first heard the song "particle man" after watching Tiny Toons do a video of it... random.

Hmmm, It was either Kenny Logins or Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine. Both were at the Ventura County Fair. I can't remember now which was first...

It was the world hunger tour in 1976 with Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor, Harry Chapin and John Denver. My Mom got us box seats at the old Olympia Arena in Detriot. It was just the guys and their guitars, no back up bands.
