Saw Avatar: 3D with my family tonight. First non-IMAX 3D movie I've seen, and it was pretty neat. The animation was gorgeous, but the added depth from the glasses was subtle enough most of the time that I wouldn't notice the difference if it were just 2D. Cameron still played with depth of field adjustments to do the whole emphasize specific areas

I'm pretty excited to see this! I'm gonna watch it with my family later on today.

I didn't want to see the movie at all because the CG looked like crap (in the trailers anyway - reminded me of Star Wars), but now you're saying that the credits are awesome, it made me want to watch that movie just for that!

Note: There is no fancy animation during the credits (except some slow zooms over the jungle), I was only commenting on the arrangement of the text. Take it as you will.
