my flatmate Mark keeps finding trash junk/stuff on the streets. and today we found and carted back two couches in extremely good condition, as well as a camping tent with an air mattress in it, and a plastic chair

haha, don't worry.
i know of two of my mates who entire set of dining table and chairs were picked up and carried home from the little yards outside other people's houses! it's perfectly normal student behaviour in the UK and saves so much!
