Presenting... Kato Lion!
Yep, snapcat done did this guy, and he came in with plenty of time to spare before Rainfurrest!
Basically, Kato which is Swahili for second-born twin brother, is the genetically-mutated twin of Marf, Snap's last lion suit. The story is that his genetic mutation caused certain parts of him to turn green, namely his eyes and green streaks throughout his mane.
As a character, he's not the brightest pea in the pod, like his brother, but Kato is a fun-loving lion that has a good heart, enjoys life and making other people smile
Snap did an unbelieveable job with the color-blending of the mane, and the head using his method of building (pretty much using a thick foam baseball helmet coated with plastic) is virtually indestructible. And he double and triple-stitched all the seams for maximum durability, all on a rush job, was great to work with and always sent me updates immediately. Seriously... if you're interested in getting a big cat fursuit commission, look him up!
Anyway I was deathly excited to get Kato yesterday and organized a photo shoot right away - here are some pics!
Kato will debut at Rainfurrest next week so if you see a big lion loping around be sure to give him a big hug!
Kato's up for adoption, anyone want to take him home???
