i had starbucks w/ marnellie the other day. its amazing how i had gone 3 months not really seeing her or really talking to her. i miss that. i used to see this girl probably more than anyone.. during nursing school.. and even though we work at the same hospital... we couldn't be more any more busy for each other

my mom used to tell me stories about a friend of hers back when she got her first nursing job in the states.

she said that on their lunch break, in a lounge full of chairs, they were so close they would share one chair.

today my mom's friend lives in escondido and they see each other once every few years. but when they do see each other it's like they just hung out the day before.
