Okay, I was talking with a friend about Hummingbirds... cuz I did a stylized drawing of one for a class. So, I decided to look them up.

i read somewhere that in proportion to their size, hummingbirds are the most aggressive of all birds. this picture seems to confirm that. to be fair to the hummingbird, if i required that much nectar JUST TO KEEP FLYING, let alone court, mate, and feed offspring, i'd be a mean bitch too. FUCK YOU, BEE. THAT'S *MY* NECTAR.

We used to get dive-bombed by hummingbirds who nested in a tree in the back corner of our yard when I was growing up. They can be nasty!

I can understand them though... needing so much to keep alive and all... I would be aggressive about food too.>.< but in this case snce I like bees... I'm rooting for the bee to fly away in that picture :D
