We'll have to get together again for a walk sometime soon :)
I went for a very brief walk at Beaver Lake yesterday - brief only because the ice in the trees was melting and falling on me. It was a bit like walking through a gentle rainy hailstorm, so after half an hour I went inside and watched the birds - only there were only a male and two female cardinals. But then I realized those two does were grazing right near the observation room, so I watched as one allllmost came over to eat from the squirrel tray, but at the last minute decided to hightail it about 30 feet. It was really neat to have only maybe 10 feet between me and such a beautiful, elusive creature.
