Kiki looked a little sorry as well. "I'm going to miss you, too, Metty," she said, hoping the beam of light before her wasn't about to lay on her a smack-down of Biblical proportions. "You were a wonderful piggy!"
There was what seemed to be a delicate sniff from the beam of light, and it shimmered silently for a moment before speaking.
"HMPH, YES, WELL...I AM AN ANGEL, AFTER ALL. IT ISN'T IN OUR NATURE TO BE...ER...BAD PIGGIES."
Obviously, that didn't quite come out the way Metatron had intended, and he lapsed into silence again. The little sand crab wandered across the carpet, eyestalks rotating as it looked up at each of the mortals.
"Ah...no hard feelings then, Aziraphale? Good joke all around. Heh."
