Summary: The baby gets the hiccups.

Warnings/comments: Another really short one, but I hope you enjoy it!Sabrina is just over 7 months pregnant. This is dedicated to krissieli!
“Mark.” Sabrina whispered, shaking his arm gently. “Mark.”
“What? Do you need something?” Mark rubbed his eyes trying to wake himself up.
“No, but I think the baby has the hiccups.” Sabrina’s voice was full of excitement and her words were enough to break his dozy state.
“Does it?” He asked excitedly, moving his hands to her belly. He could feel a light bump every five to ten seconds along with a few harder kicks from the baby in between. They stayed quiet for several minutes until the hiccups stopped and the baby was kicking less.
“I can’t wait until it’s here.” Sabrina whispered finally, turning her head to Mark.
“Me neither.” They were quiet for a few moments and then Mark asked “Do you think we’re ready?”
“I think we’re as ready as we’re going to be.” Sabrina answered, “I’m a little nervous about being a mommy and being responsible for another human being, but our parents will be a huge help.”
“They will be.” Mark agreed, “And I don’t think we’re going to have any trouble with babysitters.” He mused.
“No.” Sabrina laughed lightly, “It’s going to be spoiled rotten by aunts and uncles, I can already see it.”
“For sure. It’ll be the luckiest baby in the entire world.”
“Mhmm.”
Their conversation died and soon after Sabrina’s breathing slowed. Mark turned into his side and rested his hand on her belly just below where hers was. He closed his eyes, but before he fell asleep he felt one more bump under his fingers. Smiling warmly he allowed himself to drift off.
