Saturday my parents came down to Kent for the First Annual Parent's Weekend here. They took me to the game (because gosh, I have to go to at least one football game at my University before I leave). It wasn't too bad, largely because Kent State was almost evenly matched with Bowling Green, meaning they didn't lose too badly against them ( Read more... )

Don't be worried about the GRE, you'll do fine. Just like my teachers said that 510 on verbal was "really amazing" cause they didn't score that high when they took it, you don't have to worry about the math portion, so just be ready for it.

I'd tell you some details of it, but if you're taking it in Nov, you have a different test than I took anyway. Just relax, kick the writing portions in the face (and the verbal one), and be thinking of 4 schools you'll send your scores to.

You should go as Carrot Top Jackie ;D. But that might be a bit too feminine for you, so I'd go with Mamimi.

Oh, and if you want to wave your smart penis in my face when you get your test scores back, I got a 5.5 out of 6 on the Analytical writing portion. I should imagine you and Laura should get in the 6.3 range.
