*Well*

Okay, so I didn't really study much for the GRE Friday night. Yes, I met with my study group, but we didn't even crack open a book. We just ate dinner and talked about Harry Potter's penis, essence of almond, and all the different horrible injuries that we or people we know have had. When I got home I did some practice questions, but honestly ( Read more... )

Well they do say the Quant section is drastically easier than the verbal section (which I'm sure you noticed, even if you consider yourself really smert at Engish you have to notice some of the difficulties of the analogy section).

But hey grats. Harry Potter's penis is essence of almond?

Don't be silly; those were two different topics. Essence of almond is a reoccurring joke with my group, as a reference to cyanide. If the stress of the test was too much for one of us, then the rest of us would know because we would be able to smell the scent of almonds permeating the testing room.

Although Potter's penis is probably almond-size. Such a shame.

And let's be honest, I guessed more on the Quant section than the Verbal section. The analogies were difficult, but not as hard as some of the math stuff.

The math stuff was so easy, it just took a bit of thinking. Very very few of them you actually needed any advanced math courses for. One of them (on mine) had you have to remember some angle equalities from trig (at least to remember that 180 degrees are in a triangle) and one of them was only 1 step if you took probability instead of 8 steps with algebra, but still......

Ok, so to each their own. Still, grats on the strong scores. Hope you did well on your free writing parts :D

PS: If dumbledorf (sp) is gay, maybe Harry's penis DOES taste like almonds

I still haven't seen Harvey, and I love Jimmy Stewart! Are those scores good? I don't know anything about the GRE. What's it out of? I'm glad the Founders' Ball was good. And I think it would be neat for you do take an art class next semester. And for you to be an active member of APhiO next semester. : )
