Name: Kikumaru Eiji
Role in Le Atobe C&B (a.k.a. job): Security!
Backstory: Once upon a time, Eiji did know what he wanted to do with himself, maybe get into professional acrobatics as it had been an all too instinctive answer at the time, maybe follow Oishi's dream and become a doctor, too (or a nurse even, because, hey, they can be just as manly and the pay was supposed to be great), maybe teach dance - he'd always had a secret passion for it next to jumping around and shooting make-believe Kikumaru beams. Maybe, maybe... And when the time came and college applications were everywhere in sight, he'd taken one quick look at them and went on, surging forward with an energy uniquely his own.
Now, years later, having graduated with a degree in AB Psychology, he was never more confused than when he had been in junior high. True, Eiji had taken all kinds of electives which reflected his interests, various and sundry; and true, regret was not a word in his vocabulary. But the fact was, he just didn't know what to do next. He'd taken jobs at pet stores, daycare centers, even libraries to satisfy curiosity; and needless to say, he had never truly been satisfied. He'd never been at a standstill, had never stopped and paused long enough to look back. Which was why it was a completely new feeling to him. Was he actually lost?
Having heard of the world-renowned L'Atobe Hotel and that it was apparently understaffed, Eiji stared at the flier in his hands, recalled the glory days on the tennis circuit, balled his hand into a tight fist, and then decided, a sudden rush freezing him in place. He knew he had experience being part of a security team before, his quick reflexes and sharp senses had come in handy. And well, he found that he actually liked the thrill of being on duty, keeping the peace, and making sure everything was in order, as odd as that would sound. Maybe it was time for a big change, in any case.
Maybe this was the next step, maybe this was what he had been waiting for, maybe something amazing would happen. Determined to find out exactly what that new feeling was (oh, no, he wasn't lost anymore) and what it inevitably entailed, Eiji then decided it was time to get a move on, take a chance, and perhaps figure out if that was where he really ought to be.
