I know what you mean. I decided to (in the process of upping my fitness) "go green" by jogging to/from my grocery store and other various places I can get to in a reasonable amount of time in my area. Though, I'm starting to feel like I am getting shin splints again. I can physically do it, yes, at least from the euphoric feeling I get off running, but I too worry about causing harm. I've had to force myself to switch to ellipitcal and stair masters, which bore me to death watching TV but it's better than the alternative.

Definitely better than the alternative! Being on the injured list, and having to take months off to recover is no one's idea of fun.

Haha I picked biking over running because I get less sweaty. No one likes sitting next to a stinky person at work.

But can't you just listen to your body? If it feels totally wonderful and healthy, maybe it is...
