throwback translation: 2012 May: Myojo (Sexy Zone talks about their first concert)
yey for Sexy Zone's 3rd birthday *claps* i may or may not write a post to them later i don't know (can you believe of all the posts/letters i've written to them i've never actually sent on to the agency //wat) ANYWAY, to celebrate i just ate an icrecream and i'm going to translate their thoughts on their first concert. i'm going to read it as i translate so i'll probably be crying by the end of this lmao also anything in [square brackets] are just my own thoughts and irrelevant to the actual translation.
Looking back on their first concert...
Marius: During the Osaka Concert, I was in the same hotel room as Shori and Sou, and we watched "Risou no Musuko" together. [omfg that's so cute ; -; and i can't believe how old that drama is already] I was trying to watch it properly but the two of them were tickling me! It was like a (school) exercusion and I really enjoyed it! [by 'it' he means the concert. yeah, remember the marius who liked to talk about ten different subjects in 3 sentences]
Sou: It was a really fun concert! I thought there'd never feel so blessed. But... I made mistakes during Game and Suki Sugite, and my timing for the taiko was all wrong, that's frustrating. I need to practise more! [he's always been so hard on himself, even now... ; -; be nicer to yourself sou please ; -;]
Shori: We talked about the presentation of the stage with the staff. I've never done it before and it was really refreshing. I asked them if they could lift me as high as they could on the lifter next to the stage... I wanted to be as close to the fans as I could<3 [awww shori why are you so cute please go back to the otouto gumi ; -;]
Fuma: I'd never sung so much before so I was worried about my voice dying but apparently my vocal chords had gotten stronger and I was fine! In the music rooms [you know, the rooms backstage] everyone was in a relaxed mood. I spent my time in there watching a rock band's DVD and singing songs. [fUMA PLS. haha, i love reading fuma's old interviews, i remember the fuma i fell in love with, i love him still but it just feels like he's getting further and further away recently. of course everyone changes but sometimes it's just not the same ; -; haha)
Kento: 2 weeks before the concert, they suddenly decided that I'd play the piano. Usually, it takes me 3 months to be able to play a song to a polished standard, but this time round, there wasn't enough time so I concentrated really hard and practised in the little time I had. I thought it'd be impossible but apparently you can do it if you work hard enough. [the feels kenty ; -; i've always had this love/hate thing for you, the feels you're giving me now is the love part of the relationship]
sorry it's a short translation. but i hope you enjoyed looking back at little sexy zone. this isn't when they deuted, but it's always nice to see how they've changed. x3
