Haha! Started typing this early!!!! That way there is no way I can be late!!!
Somehow I have a feeling I’ll prove myself wrong again.
Anyway Monday,
Oh what a Lovely war. Tuesday was the same thing. I really don’t want to say much because I believe it will spoil the show. Over all I’m having a blast - I guess, and I really do miss Shakespeare though. But life goes on right? Dancing, dancing is something I have immense trouble with and it is of course in the show…but slowly, very slowly, I’m getting the hang of it.
Aside from that Wednesday we tried to hold a game night. A couple people showed up so it wasn’t a complete failure. We spent the first hour dancing around to dream street, Disney, and Nsync music before someone came into the room we had never met before. She was another exchange student who had been evacuated from Cairo and would now be spending her semester here in Wales. Talk about a rocky start.
She came and hung out with us after she settled in a bit more. It was hilarious to introduce Tom Owen to the web Genie. I wonder if he has stumped him yet. I am proud to admit that my vast anime knowledge is the only thing that allowed me to stump the genie three times. *grin*. Anyway, Simon came over and so did Caroline. We played spoons- needless to say I only lost once. It was a hilarious and fun game, even when we brought in the fork. Poor simon was just not fast enough…
After that we learned a new game…I think it was called shit-faced or something. Anyway, soon the night came to an end and everyone went on their separate ways. I was hungry and decided a trip into town would be fun. We took the new girl (I’m blanking on her name sorry) with the three of us and headed around. It was fun when we found ourselves huddling into the Pizza place with the awesome taco things…I was happy I got to eat something. Speaking of which, I’m starving.
I hate weekends. Im too poor to keep eating all the food when I’m hungry, but lord am I always drooling over the food I see on adds through my computer, or when I’m watching something and they eat my mind immediately travels to how my stomach is feeling. Anyway, we headed back home after that and I went to bed. Thursday was much the same as Monday and Tuesday- oh what a lovely war rehearsal.
I’ve been in a drawing mood all week, and yet I haven’t actually sat down and drawn something. I always kind of get like that and never do anything about that. Lord you think I’d be more productive. But recently I have been carting my big white binder with me to and from class in order to sketch whenever I get a minute. The weather is finally cloudy here, I’m so thrilled and my artistic mood is back in the stars. I should have all the revamped character designs done by the end of the week. Some of them are giving me a real kick in the ass though.
Anyway Friday we went to Monty’s for drinks. It was fun and I had a great time harassing people and being harassed. My dad had called me earlier that night on skype and chatted with me so I was kinda missing home. My mom had been busy with work, and I can’t deny that I felt home sick only to see my parents. But I was determined to have fun. So I did…although granted I got a bit emotional and freaked people out. Sorry- I forgot to mention, that is what USUALLY happens back home. The night was great up until the end, and since it’s not really over with I wont recap it. Alberie and I went back to my room and had a two hour girl chat along with watching Mary Poppins. I kept falling asleep…
I slept most of Saturday and on into Sunday. About 2am the fire alarm went off, so I’m still kind of tired today despite having slept 8 hours. Stupid fire alarm. I had also been watching a zombie apocalypse anime and so I was admittedly kind of skittish being outside and all. At least I’ve plan my emergency escape route should something happen teehee.
I missed the trip to St. Davids and White sands and I really still want to go. Hopefully we can get someone to go with us to see it and spend the day there. I think it would be a lot of fun.
-Anyway..I’m off to go lounge more. I’m beat.
-Steph.
