Help!

I have a party to go to on Monday but I also have to go to a TA dinner :/

Obviously I'd like to go party, but I need a good excuse for my TA

Ideas please!

That idea would work if I hadn't given the OK several weeks ago. She'll be like, "Well I told you long ago, you could have planned around for this". And I think she would realize that it seems odd that my parents would not let me go to a TA dinner.

Or maybe, "Sorry I was so busy studying for exams, and there were so many family occassions over the weekend that I haven't had the chance to buy my outfit for prom"

You know what...when I think of it, it seems so easy to do

But I don't know if I'm capable of lying to her and I'm going to make it obvious that I'm lying

HIGHSCHOOL more important than party..
YOUR TA has put up with your ass since grade 9
The least respect u could give is saying a goodbye if ur not even getting her a gift
I'm ashamed!

I did get her something and I was planning on stopping by at school.

And I had to put up with her! She kept threatening me with detention for not tucking my shirt, for skipping, e.t.c.
Besides, I know its the last time but I'm not that close with my TA.
