It has occurred to me that now is as good a time as any to inform the wider internet (at least, whatever portion of it is reading my livejournal...) that I am not dead.

I am feeling better! Today I felt good enough to actually dress in real people clothes (my jeans are noticeably looser...) and go out for lunch with my mom. Then I came home and slept for four hours. Oh well, build up strength slowly, right?

Edit: I'm informed I actually only slept for a little over 2 hours. That's a relief--I was worried one lunch would wipe me out for half a day!

Glad you're doing better now! It's also very good to know that about the genetics so you know what to expect in the future and that you can't take hormonal birth control. *HUGS*

Yes--in a way it's rather a relief to know that there's a genetic basis for it, that it didn't just crop up out of nowhere! Just knowing takes some of the fear away.
