Yeah, the new intro blows.

However, I forgive the intro because it showcases the new teams, which means they finally plan to catch up with the manga again. Also, Shikamaru. Shikamaru is awesome.

Yeah, Shikamaru's a favorite of mine as well. I wonder how they're going to work in Idate, though, as they're putting way too much effort into his character development to just relegate him to supporting status after this mission story is over.

Well, the focus from here on is definitely going to be on Naruto and Sasuke, so if Idate shows up again, I don't see him having too much of an impact on the Genin.

I wish they'd freaking go ahead and release the movie on DVD so someone can sub it. I haven't even seen a Cam-Pot sub yet.
