I have a class called, "Media, Power, and Culture" It is about those three things and how they relate to eachother. We had to buy a remote for the class. Yes. A remote. my sociology professor not only went to Oberlin, he was part of protests in the 60's and met Martin Luther King.

He's really fucking cool.

sometimes thoes of us semi-miserable at school luck out and have bas-add profs.

It's just fucking crazy.
I have several teachers/advisors that were protestors during the May 4 shootings. It is neat to hear them talk about it because, they were here. They were students and know all about it from a first hand stand.
My Music teacher last semester used to teach organ at Oberlin.
My art teacher talked about orgies and tourists that used to hit on her when she was a girl in Germany. She came to America in the mid 70's and has been an activist/hippie/artist since. She was even monitored by the government in her letters back home because she is a foreign liberal.

It does suck we get a shit ass school with really neat profs. It's just not fair really.
