Spotted this weekend at work:

A gigantic Cadillac with an "Our Farms, Our Future" license plate. It's one that people purchase to show their support for saving farmland. Somehow, I don't think they could afford that Caddy by owning or working on a farm.

At about 1:00 AM the other night, I was awakened out of a deep sleep by a large crash downstairs. After literally sitting straight up in bed, I immediately thought someone had broken into my house. As I was driving this morning I went by the gas station, and just about had a heart attack. Gas yesterday was $2.79, and this morning it was $2.94. How can it jump 0.15 overnight?

And then I get to work, and read this online. I don't believe them for one second.

The weather was so nice today; I was sorely tempted to skip work and class. Yesterday afternoon when I was home, I convinced myself that I could take a break from my work, and sit out on the deck. This morning as I was driving to work and school, I saw a man driving a golf cart down a driveway. I couldn't imagine what he was up to since there was still many inches of snow on the ground, and there was no golf course anywhere nearby. I don't think I'll ever see spring.  Heck, I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever see summer.  It's actually pretty depressing, and I'm blaming my bad moods on the fact that I'm just sick and tired of winter.  I would actually like to feel warm for once.
