Part of O&A's shtick is that they are the bad boys who go father than they are supposed to. How can you be a shock jock if the management doesn't get mad at you...you must not be pushing it far enough. Ten-to-one says this is a PR move in order to re-affirm their reps as shock-jocks, and for XM to save face with the FCC..."See, we discipline the bad boys...you don't need to regulate us..."

I'd take that bet, but I'd be too afraid to win.

I sincerely doubt that this is a PR shtick. Al Sharpton weighed in on it. In the wake of his other recent bullshit, there is little doubt in my mind that XM reacted in a way as to show Washington that they are willing to be a good little company in order to have the merger with Sirius approved.

time for a third Satellite company to step in. Mel K doesn't really need the money.

XM just lost 6% of their subscriber base in just over 4 hours. Imagine what that number will jump to when all the fans without internet don't hear the boys tomorrow.

They're only suspended for 30 days though, right? You need to post the email and any other address you have so I can complain too.

I'm sick to my stomach about this.
