You haven't even set foot inside that school yet and you're already ahead of me in a lot of things XD. That study abroad program sounds super nice and I hope you get there. Best of luck, Demi! I hope when we finally meet it'll be at Paris Fashion Week hohoho~
Um, you were partially my inspiration? So I threw myself into planning this with vigor. I'm not getting any younger, after all. I'd like to finish school before I'm TOO old. @.@
Also, I'll be going up to visit the school sometime in the spring, and I plan to be FULLY LOADED with questions about that international study program, oh yes. If I go, you should come visit me in Italy! :) Well, that's a ways off yet.
Since you've made it clear you don't want to visit me at home because my dishes smell. :P
I'd never seen you express so much interest in fashion before that comment on my LJ so was this, like, on an impulse? But, hey, you seem (seem) reliable when it comes to academic/career commitment so I don't doubt you'd do well.
Oh, Italy~ Well, I'm sure whatever piece of paper I'll get from this school at the end of this course wouldn't take me to Italy so I'll be seeing you as a tourist XD. LUCKY YOU ARGGH. Now I'm feeling... IDK... unsure? whether what I'm doing now will be worth it. Ee, Italy...
Actually, I never HAD much interest in fashion until (this sounds so dumb) I started hanging out with Sean. Like, I was always buying Cosmo magazine in an attempt to girl myself up a bit more and before I knew it, I had started thinking, "Oh wow, this belt is fucking cool. It would go great with a ruffled blouse" or, "I wonder what these slingbacks would look like in red", etc.
Somewhere along the way, I became a girl. *sigh*
In truth, I'm also greatly interested in fashion design, but I can't draw and I can't sew and those are, like, the two basic requirements of the degree. Haha.
You know, you've mentioned this before, but is your school, like, REALLY tiny or something? You make it sound like you have no hope in your desired career path because of your locale...
I was thinking about coming up andtaking a tour when the weather gets warmer, actually. :) Maybe around April-Mayish. So your offer is much appreciated.
On that note, I have my own apartment now (joy!), so if YOU ever want to come down here to visit, then I can definitely give you a space to stay, too. Though I fear my culinary talent lies not with making dinners, but instead with only mixed drinks...lol.
