okay i decided to cut a couple mm into my tongue, just to get a feel for how i should best hold the scalpel, how much it might hurt, how hard it'd be to cut the flesh, etc etc etc. basically, to practice

awesome! kudos to you for doing it yourself. Definitely follow through with good aftercare (im not sure what it is for splitting, probably salt water rinse) to prevent infection, cause that shit is NASTY.

i have a natural split in my tongue but its small. I couldnt imagine doing that.. ows. but you are very brave to do it yourself! I pierce my own ears sometimes.. hurts like a bitch.
