^.^ welcome to the livejournal club, it is...my precious....^.^ I'm so addicted to it but I've tried to stop being addicted lately, hopefully you won't fall into it like I did. Also, in case you don't already know you might be interested in the fact that you can post privately and publicly and friends only. And, you can make custom friend groups too so only certain people can see your posts, for example, if you had a trusted group of friends and you wanted a post that only they could see, you could make a custom group with them in it, and then use that do decide privacy settings for that post so only they can see it. So yeah, there's my introduction to LiveJournal. Enjoy your stay!
