i have found that if i keep flour (especially above the stove) suddenly before long i have tiny little brown bugs in my flour, the best bet is to keep it in a cool place. The scary part is that it can be in a completely sealed container and the bugs still accumulate, which makes me believe that the eggs are in the flour to begin with .. yuck

Bulk (unpopped) popcorn gets especially evil looking beasts in it (bigger than flour ones!), I think they're called weavels or something. Yick. I'm pretty sure everything like that is full of eggs.

Very crunchy! That may or may not have been how they are meant to turn out. I did them sans nuts, because B didn't want nuts and we didn't have any anyway.

Yeah, they're snaps, so they're supposed to be crunchy.
