I can respect people who stray away from mainstream music in search for something better, and something more truthful, cuz hey, I am one of those people. I think most (not all) mainstream music is crap. But some people take it to extremes and get too caught up in labels and making statements and shit that they forget about whats really important, ( Read more... )

hey, sorry i know i dont comment much on ur lj, but you wrote so powerfully here. im at work, and im just lookin around, and i read ur post, and i seriously felt like crying at the end cuz i felt somehow very close to you now. thats exactly how i feel.

i love how you said "music is the face of god"
i guarantee that phrase will never leave my mind. its the closest way we can describe music and its beautiful powerful force.

if there were only more ppl like you around.

hey, thank you so much. you have no idea how good and really refreshing it is to know that someone understood that, and that someone understands me. :)

"music is the face of god" that was my john reference, you know i had to throw at least one in there. lol It's mainly because of him and his own passion for music that i discovered its beauty in the first place.

oh i completely understand.
frusciante is THE one who showed me that music can be beautiful and on a totally different level. its so personal, raw and naturally beautiful.
it takes a special kind of person to see/feel that about music. like john :)
