ok..so...have you ever seen that Seinfeld episode where the comedian can't say a Jewish joke cuz he's not Jewish and it wouldn't be right?? you know what i mean...well same thang. Its just offensive, no big deal, nevertheless offensive.

well here's the thing. you dont know if the person who wrote that commercial is hispanic or has ever lived in miami. They couldve said, lets get someone in marketing who has lived in miami or is cuban or whatever to write up a Miami commercial. You dont know if the person behind it is "one of us". Again if the stereotype is true, i dont find it offensive. Especially if theyre not out to insult, it was just to poke a little fun.

If it wouldve shown dave chappelle on an innertube being guided by dolphins saying, "shit bitch, I'm on my way to the VMAs in Miami." that wouldve been offensive.

i think movies like bad boys II where they have horrible drug dealing caricatures of Cubans and Haitians and makin miami look like the bastard child of Miami Vice are the most offensive. cuz taht shit aint entirely true. and Michael Bay is a scumbag.
