I believe in ghosts. But it freaks the hell out of me that there could be one right next to me right now, and i would never know.

I mean i don't care about the nice ones that don't want to kill me, but the ones with huge scary eyes that look at me at my bedside....meh those i can do without.

One time I was staying at this old house in Stowe, Vermont. Me and my family were spending thanksgiving there. I slept in the same room as my brother. First night we were there, we could hear this tapping noise on the window directly above our heads. The room was below ground so the window was like, right at ground level. Me and my brother get freaked out by the noise so we go into the main hall. We bump into my sister and my mom. They had been hearing the same noise too. At around 1:15 or 1:20, the phone rang. We picked it up and no one would answer.

That happened for 3 nights straight. In the same order. It was freaky. That house was scary in general.

No such thing as "ghost"... Spirits yes.
Good ones? Probably not.
The Devil can manifest himself into many things.
He was/is most powerful angel in all of creation.
As for good spirits they usually appear in things like appercians (sp?) and angels also can take forms as humans and such. All the power for this is only given by God himself for a purpose usually.
If you are Christian and believe what the Bible says that means you believe in this for all the accounts it speaks of. Not to mention you believe in people being possessed. Jesus casted out many demons and so did the Apostles. Why would back then be different from today?

well ive noticed nowadays genuine cases of demonic posession are very very rare. what people one thought were demons over the years we have discovered are actually seizures schizophrenia and a number of other physical and psychological disorders. Jesus and the apostles probably healed these diseases as if casting out demons still through god's power.

im not saying theres no such thing as demons, it just doesnt happen that often.

I respect that belief but i also do believe that most of the mental disorders and such are cause by demonic possession in many cases. Theirs a constant battle going out inside of between our soul and spirit. When constately being attacked or being attacked by our loved ones falling into things our soul begins to take over. Many events that shock and effect people in the long run i believe are brought upon the Devil to weaken us and end up questioning God and our beliefs setting us up for lossing this great fight hence addictions, disorders, etc...

Just my point of view in things. Psychological problems, anxiety, illness, and such are brought upon evil doings and us lossing faith. God knows this and is one big test to see how much we really love him. As long as we do the right thing and fight the "good fight" as Paul said we will be ok.

Don't think that i believe this in all cases but a big majority of things.
