When Worlds Collide...

Okay, so this morning at the Lodge, I finally had a look at Strange Eon (an Arkham Horror character generator), and started playing around with it. It's quite a nice little program, that sets the totals and checks validity on the charcters you generate, allows for custom images, and sets it all in the appropriate format - it even lets you create ( Read more... )

Well, I'm finding the generator very helpful, as it will do all the adding up for you, while giving you a lot of control over the flavour of the characters. If I can get anyone to playtest them, we'll see if I'm actually getting the balances right in terms of power and special abilities.

I'd love to - most of my Saturdays in March are free at the moment, so let me know which one would work best for you. Oh, and I meant to thank you for the information about CPE, it was of great help.

I reckon that a Final Fantasy version of Arkham Horror is a must. Everyone would loathe getting Sephiroth as the Big Bad and Sin would eat the world in fourteen turns.

You'd get the chance for Turks membership and Bugenhagen could be an ally. It'd be great!

Well, I certainly think that creating matched character suites is likely to be the best way to customize, as you can adjust accordingly for powers. But I also want to have an Arkham game where players are required to roleplay their interactions, as another way of varying the experience. If you make a Final Fantasy suite, tell me how it goes!
