Oh, I meant to add - I have a birthday coming up on 5 September, and although I'm going to be in Portsmouth with the SHSL on the day itself, I'm in London the day before, Thursday, 4 September, for a Development Committee meeting, and it would be nice to meet up with people in the evening for a celebratory meal, if anyone is free ( Read more... )

Yes, I was planning to send an e-mail to the non-lj-enabled later this evening, but please feel free to let him know when you see him, as well. I think there might be another drinks party later in September, as well - I'll let you know.

Hi. Turned out that I have a dental appointment and so can't get out of town on the 4th. Bah. I hope you have a wonderful time though.

I never heard back about the xmas card, though I've had plenty to occupy me as I have been deep in the steampunk joy of New Babbage.

No problem, I'll hopefully see you at some point soon. (Will you be at Connotations this year?)I'll also chase the card issue with SHSL when I see them in September. (I had to miss a Council meeting in July due to a Leonard Cohen concert!)

I probably need to hear something from my work about connotations. In theory I can go, but I know that some people will be starting up the new clinic from the 1st of October so I'm a bit unsure. Gah! OTOH, if it were in Sept I certainly couldn't have gone as Haldane is in town (hurrah!)

Oh hey, I forgot about then - when are she and her family around? I recall I'd offered to meet up in London or something if that would suit their schedule, but I hadn't heard anything from her. When you see her, do let her know that she should feel free to get in touch. I'm in London on 10, 11, and 20 September for work or other commitments, so I might be able to work something out.
