Little Help?

1) Would someone be willing to make some UK bookings for me? I'm completely failing to book train tickets online, since First Great Western doesn't like my (foreign) address, and Thermae require bookings by phone, which will probably cost as much in long distance fees as the booking will. I've got UK funds and can reimburse you for any pre- ( Read more... )

I've never booked tickets for someone else before so I don't really know how it works, but if no one who actually knows what they're doing is able to help, I will :)

PSP Repairs - Sadly it being Sony it would proably be cheaper to by a second hand PSP (currently around £60) then get it fixed at a Sony Repair Center unless its under warrenty - otherwise try www.sonypsprepairs.co.uk/
or
consolerepairsuk.com/sony-PSP

You should be able to book any rail tickets on nationalrail.co.uk for collection at a main line station via the quick ticket machines(perhaps not Heathrow, but certainly Paddington, if that was the plan) . Unfortunately other people can't do that for you as the card used to book the tickets is required for the collection, in addition to the booking code.

I'm also happy to help with tickets if the other options don't work out.

I would totally do your brochure, with the caveat that I'm a bit rusty - it's been a few years since I've done serious layout/design work (not counting things like helping kids design the school magazine). I'm looking to get my hand back in, though, and I'm freelancing at home full-time at the moment. Let me know if that sounds good.

Wow, that would be fantastic, and I know that our NGO would really appreciate it. I'll just check with the Managing Director about our timescale (don't worry, it's in no way a rush job) and then get back to you. Due to the fact that internet access is so unreliable here, and depending on the number of photographs we want to send you, it may be better for me to burn everything to a CD and bring it to you in August rather than trying to send it all via e-mail.

Good stuff! Either arrangement for getting it to me is fine.

I'd be happy to do it as a donation, too.
