April is next month. That's almost as bad as May or December. I'm not looking forward to it.
It was nearly two weeks ago now, but I'm still thinking about that engagement party. There were people there I knew, yes, but there were also a lot of people that I didn't know, and... well. It was a little bit intimidating being one of the few half or Muggleborns in a room full of purebloods will do that to you, I suppose. I guess it only further proves that I'm most comfortable with others when Quidditch is involved. Or around family, but it was obvious that- I did meet Melisande's fiancé while I was there, finally (though it was only for a brief moment), and he certainly seems pleasant enough. And hey, he's a fellow Hufflepuff. I can't knock that, right?

And I know I've mentioned this before, but thank you again, Melisande, for inviting me to your engagement party. I was almost surprised that I had a really good time, and it was nice to see some people that I haven't seen in a while.
We're off from training today, so I think I might get started on that to do list I have that always seems to be lying around but never seems to get done.
