Genre: Angst, Romance
Rating: pg-13
Summary: Not all fairytales are happily-ever-afters.
i.
Contrary to what it seems Yunho appreciates beauty, he loves the beautiful- but he basks on the undone, the primal. So this is how he fucks Yoochun clean on the bed: His face free from the make up that has long worn off after the day. No traces of coverings, his skin imperfect and scarred. His body drenched in sweat that cleanses the pretentiousness of what they job can instil. His body twisted to a point of breaking, arching to his touch; skin clawed red, flesh marked blue, his lips kissed a shade of pink that only he can give. He marks his territories with colours of passion. It's a brute force of movement with each thrust, it leaves him on a high and teetering over the edge. Yoochun's voice breaks of notes not on the scale, comes down an octave and hoarse. This is the duet not be be sung outside these corners. It's their most compelling masterpiece (disaster)-
With Yoochun, he sheds his layers: unrehearsed, untrained, raw. Real.
ii.
Yoochun is needy, always wants too much but finds that he cannot handle it. He is what you want him to be as long as he is in love. He is greedy for love: he takes and takes and takes. It's a hunger he tries to sate. If he gets enough maybe he will be able to give it back. He fills his inadequacies with people hoping that they will fill up the gaps and cliffs that have racked his body. Because he thinks love is a doctor and he is an emergency.
He is willing to take scraps and crumbs that have fallen from the plate- just a taste to last a little longer until the next meal. It's a cycle of hunger and indulgence. He is a beggar and they can never be choosers, he is a whore paid with heated love in exchange for intimacy.
He is a scavenger; a vulture (but even they only feed on the dead)
iii.
Yunho's always been good with kids, everyone knows it. Through his domineering presence hides a gentleness he reserves for the little ones. He is a contrast of himself. He loves them because they are the truest people in a world: untainted. Yet, he feels sadness for he knows that as each day passes they too lose themselves.
Yoochun laughs at how a man can be so two-faced. "He's an angel," they beam yet the bruises on his body show otherwise. He is a crime scene in himself and the assailant is the law. But he sees, he truly sees that this is the other's true nature. Every arm is capable of an embrace, every arm is capable of a push.
And all he wants is to be treated like those children.
iv.
It's just the two of them at home with nothing to do. The curtains are drawn, the silent buzzing of the air-conditioning adds to a cozy feel. Both are dressed down to their comfortable clothes,
'U-Know Yunho' and 'Micky Yoochun' take a backseat for the day.
These are the moments of quiet between them where you can feel love-almost.
Yoochun is sprawled on the couch with his head resting on Yunho's lap- half-asleep. The older flips through the channels of infomercials while his other hand strokes Yoochun's hair. He settles for the thousandth showing of My Sassy Girl just because. Yunho quietly murmurs the dialogue of the end scene so tenderly, "I think I met a man from the future." Yoochun almost wants to think it's directed at him.
And it is.
v.
Sometimes when you love you you forget to say it, you forget to act it. A conversation can turn into a verbal assault, a variance of opinion into defiance and love turns into hate. Yoochun thinks it doesn't matter anyway since he's never felt the love in the first place, all he's been given are scars. This is all he's known and frankly he can't differentiate between the two anymore. So he remains passive and takes this. It's a self-defense but it's breaking down the barricades and building a wall.
You only love me as much as you hate me.
But I'd rather have this than nothing because I always want a piece of you with me.
vi.
Yunho never knows what he has with Yoochun, no matter how much he tries to dig into him he comes up with nothing. He gets frustrated with the wall the other has seemingly built over night. But he tries anyway because it's not that he has forgotten love, it's just that he can never come up of ways to show it anymore. When the only whimper he gets from the other is from pain then that's all he is going to give.
We're breaking at the seams but we keep ignoring it. We're a train wreck in secluded forest no one has heard about. We're screaming to the deaf; no one can hear us.

". . and we'll live happily-ever after!"
"Like a Disney movie?"
"No, even better: like Yunho and Yoochun"
"Such a dork!"
"Oh, you love it"
"But seriously, I promise to be your always."
"Now you're getting cheesy!"
"I'm sure of it!"
"How can you be so sure?!"
"Because it's with you"
viii.
I still love you, why can't you see that?
