That's a very sweet story and i can really see Changmin doing this, holding on to little reminders to make sure what he remembers actually happened. Nice start to the morning for me. Thank you.
I'd just like to add, now that I've actually made it through not only my day but the whole week, that I'm very impressed by your pacing here, and the gradual build to the final scene.
You have successfully presented a beautiful love story through the mechanism of mementos, from the pressed flower on. The climax with Yoochun breaking down is very powerful and "full circle" as you say.
It's great to find writing that just does its job without calling undue attention to the advanced craft involved.
FINALLY HOME! CAN YOU BELIEVE THE TRAINS WERE DELAYED BY 45 MINUTES CAUSE THE TRACK WAS MESSED UP ;3;3;
ON TO THE GOOD STUFF!!
Changmin reasons that he likes them as keepsakes: a way of preserving a memory. Yoochun just laughs even more. “Honey, you’re a hoarder just admit it.”
it's okay, Min. i accept your flaws, we'll hoard together
“Well if you really wanna know its signifance than it means I may have to break up with you.”
Yoochun’s eyebrow rises at the snarky reply he knew too well “You really wanna tell people we broke up over a banana magnet?” A challenge.
i would love to hear Min explain why he dumped his bf over a magnet :D
“For some odd reason you heard that and you handed me your banana and then left the table. So that’s why there’s a banana magnet, get it now?”
A shit grin spreads across Yoochun’s face. “You hopeless sap.”
but he's such an adorable sap :D
He remembers how Yoochun held her in his arms because Changmin was so terrified to hold a tiny human being. His family pokes fun at his inability to hold her
( ... )
First of all! I'm glad you made it back home! I love your comment too. This went out of control the moment I got sleepy and it drove into a ditch, a muddy ditch.
oh. I dared you to dare me indirectly harhar. I failed you still.
