So, here's my theory: David is invincible, at the moment.

I figure you'll want an explanation, so here's the simplified version: God wants David to be a missionary. David can't be a missionary if he's dead. Therefore, David cannot die. See, it's very simple, ( take today for example... )

Don't people in movies who proclaim that they are invincible die shortly after?

Of course, that usually only applies to the villains... and then this isn't a movie either... but it got me thinking anyway.
