Good god, where had my mind been? I hardly know myself. I'm trying to get myself settled in here but it's been difficult trying to get myself to adjust to living back at home. I still can't get over the fact that this all feels so temporary. Even unpacking is such a chore, when both times I've moved into my dorm I've always had all my unpacking ( Read more... )

Oh God, Old Poway Park is the most underwhelming historical site. I think there are like two buildings that go back a hundred years, but have been mostly rebuilt and were actually moved there from the "ghetto part" of Poway bc it wasn't picturesque enough for the city! LOL. My mum's friend runs the historical society, so I always hear lots about it. XD

Those wine bottle candles look cool, though.

Haha so I am right about everything actually being new! XD Seriously it looks like part of an amusement park rather than an actual historical town. XD

It does! I used to always get dragged there when people visited from out of town by my parents. My dad would be like, "But Eve, they have little kids; they'll love the Old Poway Train. Don't be a stick-in-the-mud" So then I'd end up showing random people around there while they tried to look interested. ::facepalms::

Hehe it's not really a village, it's just a small well-kept town-ish area of a much larger city XD
