Raquel's Adventures in Cooking!!

For today's meal I made a really simple English breakfast. I've wanted to make this ever since I saw V for Vendetta and just never made it until now. I'm going to try and make something new everyday, but we'll see how well that works out (>.<)

Meal: Egg-in-a-Hole and Tea
Difficulty Level: Super Easy
Ingredients:
-Bread
-Egg
-Butter
-Tea of your choice
-Milk/sugar if you like

Step 1: Cut a hole in the bread (I made one for my dad, too). I just used a knife so it's less than perfect but you can use a cookie cutter if you have one and make cool shapes.

Step 2: Put butter in the pan. My parents don't buy real butter so this is "buttery spread," whatever the fuck that means.

Step 3: Toast the bread a little bit in the pan. And by that I mean soak up the butter.

Step 4: Crack an egg into the hole of the bread. Don't break the yolk and fuck this part up.

Step 5: Flip it. I almost fucked this up but I didn't, and I suck at cooking. So if I can do it and you can't, then you REALLY suck at cooking and shouldn't even be in the kitchen to begin with.

I don't like the yolks to be runny so I let it sit there for a while.

Step 6: TEA!

Put some hot water in the tea cup (boil it, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew, use a kettle, whatever, I get hot water right from our water cooler ♥) and put in the tea bag (or if you have loose leaf tea, that works too!)

I'm using Wonderland Tea that I got from Disneyland! The Official Unbirthday Tea (also authorized for real birthdays)!

Step 7: Put in milk and sugar to your liking. Actually, you should put the sugar in BEFORE the hot water, but since I don't like my tea sweetened I just put in about 1/4th inch of milk.

And there you have it! A super easy and yummy and cute breakfast! Now you're ready to put on your V mask and kidnap Natalie Portman all by yourself! ^^
