Did some research today and I've consigned myself to being bipolar. Funny how my whole life has been pointing at bipolar and I never thought anything was wrong with how I was feeling. Like how you apparently can't tell you're manic until after it's over. Hmmm. Something to keep in mind. I don't want to take any more pills. Lithium? No thanks

You're the second bipolar person who's told me this, so it's looking more and more like it's true. Considering that means 100% of the bipolars I know say so.
The crisis counselor at the hospital about a month ago was the first to tell me I had bipolar, I just shrugged it off as stupid until I did some research. Yesterday I took the big step of calling and making an appointment with a psychiatrist, so at least that's done.
I just wish I could run from people's opinions who don't understand. Like my parents. One blows up and basically says it's all controllable by determination, the other (this is a total opposite from his usual) researchs it and tells me how much he wants to help, neither of which help AT ALL.
Thank you very much for your input, I really appreciate it :)
