[Something in her stomach twists when he grins like that. Exorcists are too accustomed to putting on those fake-smiles; it's sickening, really. He knows her- his her, at least- that much is obvious. And even though the adrenaline is buzzing so hard through her veins it feels like there's no blood in them at all, that expression still gets her, right in the stomach.
Sure, there's far too many Black Order personnel in Nesreca than can be considered all right or reassuring, but for these alternate-world Exorcists, they're still alone, because all the get here are a handful of people wearing faces they recognize but can't extend any recognition back. In a way, she's actually lucky.
It's a combination of battle stress and an odd, empty empathy that makes her voice crack.] ...Thank you.

Alma has to close his eyes even if she can't see his face and he's not even looking at the screen. It's too painful to hear that sort of tone from her.
What is she upset about... she doesn't even know me at all... He tries to swallows around the lump in his throat, but it doesn't quite work.
