Okay, you don't have to.
But yeah. It was my birthday today, and I am now sixteen (I was at 10:52 this morning).
But let's start from yesterday, as I went to see Fall Out Boy. I'll touch on it rather briefly, seeing as I'm going to be meeting them tomorrow. It was pretty awesome! I got a few decent pictures, but the camera kept blurring. However, I still got a Peterick picture and some videos. Hahaha. Uhm... Got there about fifteen minutes before Hey Monday started and bought a programme, which is funny as it includes pictures of the band in rabbit ears. So Hey Monday were okay, nothing too special, although I did like the last song they played. Kids In Glass Houses were very good, and everyone went crazy when Give Me What I Want was played (that was a highlight).
Then there was Fall Out Boy! I'll admit I was a little underwhelmed at first, but then it struck me and it was just fantastic. I can hardly remember the setlist, but they played I've Slept With Someone In Fall Out Boy..., which was a highlight for me. I wish they'd played more from FAD, like some of the later tracks, but they did play the singles, Headfirst Slide and She's My Winona. At one point they were having technical problems, so Patrick told this story about his uncle at Thanksgiving, which I didn't quite follow but was amusing. I filmed that as well.
So that was all well and good, but today was my birthday! Last night, Briony gave me this cake that she'd made me.
Isn't it just amazing? She had so much difficulty trying to get that pruple as well. It tastes amazing, with jam and buttercream, and just YUM! So nice.
I got other presents, which are as follows.
I absolutely love my phone. I was thinking about it all day and got it out as often as I could. It truly is amazing so far, and the camera is just fantastic. Most of the pictures have been taken on it, and I need to familiarise myself with it a little bit. In Graphics today, me and Rhi were using the camera, but we were filming and ended up filming a printer. Haha!
This is a mole which Rhianna got for me. I don't know his name, because he has been called Moley and Rufus.
This is SLAB, complete with bitemarks; I couldn't resist snacking on it. It's vert tasty. The last time I had SLAB was Christmas, and it lasted more than a week, which isn't bad. Mmm, slab...
Here are two AMAZINGLY AWESOME pictures my friends Rhianna and Alannah drew for me, respectively. The first one depicts Rhianna and me (grammar, but hey) squealing at a Ryden wedding (I LOVE Ryan's veil and flower). The original can be found here.
The secomd picture is a drawing of those Gabe and William pictures that there are, and I just love it. I literally squealed when I was presented with it. Just. Wow.
Here's some other stuff I got. Mum got me yet more mature vampire yaoi manga, which makes me cringe, but I still appreciate it. Looks good. I got Galaxy chocolate, pretty pyjamas, nail polish, makeup, Death Note: The Last Name, an L watch, 'Bose' earplugs (they turned out to be fake, because I was disappointed with the sound quality and we checked it out...), Heath Ledger biography, Scott Heim book, and curlers!!
All in all, today has been a very good day (apart from dodgeball last period). We go to Cardiff in Wales tomorrow to see and meet Fall Out Boy, so I hope it all goes well. :D
