With months passed without a word from Sarah, Ford had started to consider himself dumped. Hadn't he said this from the beginning? It would never work! She was still in her routines. She wasn't going to break those habits easily, if at all. She had a chance to and she was getting help - if Ford actually counted as 'help' - but it wasn't likely and she wasn't that worried about it. Instead, she kept at it.

There was a knock on the door and judging by the bad timing it was Ford. She steeled herself, trying not to remember the conversation they had over drinks and opened the door. "What?"

"Grab your coat. We're going out." The lack of pleasant greetings wasn't exactly anything new. But he didn't usually start giving orders right of the bat either.

"Why do you think I'll go with you anywhere just because you demand it?" he was particularly foul today. That was easy enough to see. She folded her arms over her chest and stared at him, unwavering.

Being met with attitude usually didn't impress Ford. It definitely didn't when he was already in a bad mood. "Because I tell you to, and because that you don't really have a choice when it boils down to it. So grab your coat, or be cold for all I care. Either way we're going."
