So I have arrived in Ottawa. Well, I've been here since about 4pm. Arriving wasn't the bad part. Yeah, there was traffic and there were crazy drivers. The moving up all my crap up to a second second floor place (up two full flights of stairs, mind you), it was what the apartment was. It was left in absolute shambles. I wish that I had taken

Ouch. That sounds roughly as bad as Sara's place was when we moved her in - minus the blood and vomit stains. This sublet business - such a crapshoot. Hopefully I have better luck with my place and roommates...

170 Lees Avenue. Google Maps tells me it's about 3km from my office. I thought you were working to the west of downtown - how are you getting around the city? I'm probably going to try to get a student bus pass.

I'm working north west of downtown in Tunney's Pasture. Its about 20 mins by bus. I bought the student summer semester pass...a lovely $226 -_-, but its better than paying $6/day just to get to and from work.
I wonder how far away you are from me.

Wow. That is all manner of horrible. I'm so glad neither of my places have been all that bad (though the rotting pepper is still in my fridge and I want my roommate to do something about it O_o)

Man, temporary housing arrangements really bring out the worst in people. Not owning = treating it like a dump.
