My birthday was amazing. Many phone calls and messages. Family Texas dinner. So many friends. Vodka and sunny D. Much love. The night ending at 530 in the morning with Michelle and I in my room, like old times. It was only  missing one person.

It's almost February. I'm back in Dartmouth for the second semester. Everything is cold and dull, I'm entering the winter doldrums. Things are different here. It's strange without Michelle.  I rearranged my schedule so I have four classes MWF, and only one in the morning on TT. Everyone seems to be laying low and concentrating more on school.
