Today is my last day at work for a year.

Is your same position secured by law while you're on leave?

yeah- actually for 2 years, but the 2nd year is completely unpaid...so usually nobody opts for that.

yep whole year off.

so that will be good..but it is still questionable as to whether or not i am allowed to come to MN during my time off. I dont think that I am allowed to leave for too long.

hmmmm.

anyhow.. I think that we are still planning on visiting at the end of june, so hopefully I have everything figured out by then :)

Why can't you leave? That sounds weird. Of course you can't leave the baby, but why couldn't you travel with the kiddo?

Are you going to be here for Convergence? July 1 - 4

yeah I think we can leave, but we have to fill out reports every 2 weeks telling the govt if we left and for how long, and whatnot, and that is taken into consideration when we are sent our monthly checks. so I guess we lose money???

We will be down for back to the 50s but not con. and then we will be back for sure in oct- by Bro is running his first marathon..and nathans friend is getting married in mexico, so We are still figuring out what to do about that too.. he might just go alone..

Anyhow. we will try to come a few times since I have so much time off, just have to wait and see...
