The Percy Jackson and the Olympians books, although for 12 year olds or something, are amazingly wicked, witty and vastly entertaining. I cant believe theyre still in the 'young' section rather than the teenagers too. I just finished the latest one and cant wait for the next, looks like it will be out next year to tie in with the (unsuprising) film

I've been trying to get my friends to read Percy Jackson since I discovered them a year ago. Despite the supposed age level, they're some of the best books I've read in a while. I could even overlook the idea of Athena having children (though I'm glad he finally explained it, and it made sense).
