Mom's dead.
Her struggle, her pain is over. Now she can rest.
I'll see her again, someday, and there will be stories and laughter.

But for now, despite the heat and too bright desert sun, I mourn.

I am so sorry to hear this. The world is a bit darker for having lost her. Though we have grown apart, I always remembered her fondly and how she would include me when she never had to. But as when I lost my mom, I know that May isn't in pain anymore. You and your family are in my thoughts.

I'm very, very, very sorry to find out so late. Your mother was a bright and lovely lady and I was glad to know her however briefly on Livejournal. *hugs*
