Lavender lies in her bed, tossing around with a nightmare, waking finally up with a cushioned scream. She looks over to Parvati who sits up and returns Lavender’s gaze.
“What is it?” she asks with a hushed voice.
“Nightmare,” Lavender breathes. “Can I come to you? Please?” she begs and hurries over to her friend who lifts the blanket invitingly.
The blonde crawls into the warm bed and snuggles up to Parvati. “Thanks for letting me in.”
“No problem. Now sleep.”
Lavender nods but doesn’t dare to close her eyes. The nightmare is still to vivid.
“I can’t sleep.”
“Why not?”
“Because of the dream.”
Parvati sighs.
“Can’t you distract me?” Lavender asks and lays her arm around her friend’s slender body.
“Oh, Lavender, please …”
“Hush, or you’ll wake Hermione.”
Parvati can actually hear how Lavender is grinning.
“You’re unbelievable,” she says.
“Please, Parvati … come on, don’t make me beg.”
“But I like to hear it,” Parvati says directly into Lavender’s ear.
“I beg you,” the blonde gives in and starts to giggle lightly when Parvati pulls the blankets up and over their heads.
“Hush! You’ll wake Hermione!”
