Meeting my new sister

The question I've been asking myself ever since I found out I was going to have a new sister is:

"How long does it take a five year old chinese girl who speaks no english and has never met an american to cozy up to her new family?"

Every picture we'd ever seen of Jin Mei she looked miserable,  every person we'd talked to that had met her

I'm glad these have recieved such a positive response. I really felt like this trip would be a good way to ease my way back into somewhat regular journal writing again.

Of course the subject matter pretty much writes itself :P
