So far, the 21st century sucks. It feels like the whole world has gone mad. News of the financial markets are so depressing. Between the news regarding the election and the documentaries I've been watching, it can be overwhelming sometimes.

Yes, I hope he wins. I also hope that he is what we think he is. I just have to question any candidate that my crazy neighbor likes. hahaha

Ya really. After 9/11 I stopped watching the news for a long time. But I can't vote responsibly without paying attention to what's going on. It's overwhelming but it also proves how much is riding on this next election. I hope we all ultimately make the best choice or I'll be building a bunker in the backyard. ^^;;

There's some scary shit going down right now, I agree. There's also a lot of people who have spent the last, oh, eight years building up a scare tactics method of government, so people have gotten so blase about it that now, when things really are hitting fans left and right, there are a lot of people who just can't summon up the gumption to care. That makes it creepier. :/ Bleh.

/going to go back to sticking head in sand again. ...mebbe. At least until after the election...t_t;;

....we sell standees of Bush, McCain, and Obama, and some crazy dude came in yesterday and was trashing the Bush one. +_+;; The state of politics is such that people think that trashing private property is cool? Whut.
