Sunday afternoons bring back memories of reading Calvin and Hobbes curled up on the sofa with Daddy. Carefully sliding into my patent leather Mary Janes and acting important. Tying pretty ribbons in my hair on the way to church; reading the Sunday comics. (They were always in color on Sunday, which made them fifty times more enjoyable ( Read more... )

Sundays always bring back memories for me, much like yours. Mine were of waking up to the smell of pancakes and the sound of Sunday cartoons and going downstairs and reading the comics and heading off to church in one of my cute little dresses and bringing a book to read during the sermon and coloring all over the bulletin. And afterwards, we'd all go outside the church and talk to friends and the kids would head to the big iron bell in the front yard and ring it. And life was good.
